In the early hours of a Sunday Morning way back in 2014, Richard was driving home. Richard had spent a lot of time commuting all over the south of England. The corporate world had kept him away from home far too much and Richard needed a new career that would bring him closer to him. There came the brainwave and within weeks, Richard started training as a Driving Instructor. 

The story continued to unfold and after plenty of water going under the bridge, lots of Advanced Training and hard work, the driving school expanded and continues to expand to this day.

Our vision is to "Train and provide the highest level of Driver Trainers and in doing so, supply the highest level of Driver Training across Devon and Cornwall"

Richard Butterworth

Grade A DVSA ADI

RoSPA Gold Advanced Driver

 

Richard is an experienced Grade A DVSA Approved Driving Instructor and a Driving Instructor Trainer. He has been doing the job for almost 10 years after a radical lifestyle change. Richard has been a youth organisation volunteer for over 20 years and finds teaching a passion. He has multiple Advanced Driving Qualifications. Richard lives just outside Totnes with his wife, Hannah and their children. Richard uses a BMW 218 for work.

Tristan Smith

Tristan is an experienced Driving instructor and has previously worked in Schools. He lives in Kingskerswell with his wife and children.

He has a deep passion for carp fishing and will often be found gracing the banks of fishing lakes. Tristan uses a Seat Ibiza for work.

Hannah Butterworth

Hannah is our super organised Office Manager and Company Director. She is the first point of contact for all new customers.

Hannah is from a medical secretary background and lives with her husband, Richard and their children just outside Totnes.

Anna is a very experienced Driving Instructor with nearly 15 years experience. Anna lives in Newton Abbot. Anna uses a Ford Fiesta for work.

Annie Wallace
DVSA ADI & Disability trained Instructor

Annie has been a Driving Instructor since 2016 and has also worked for Cornwall Mobility. Annie is a trained disability trainer. Annie lives in Brixham with her partner and uses a Mercedes A Class for work.
